A heated exchange between Todd Cantwell and Callum McGregor sparked an on-field rammy after Rangers vs Celtic.

As John Beaton called time on a pulsating derby match between Glasgow's big two at Ibrox, a coming together of players from both sides occurred. 

The Sky Sports cameras showed that as Cantwell and McGregor shook hands around the half-way line, the former appeared to be giving the Hoops captain a mouthful, with the Scotland midfielder giving as good as he got.

Cantwell then pushed McGregor away, which then enticed Greg Taylor to barge in on the Rangers midfielder.

Several players from either side then became embroiled in the exchange, with Philippe Clement even trying to settle things down at full-time.

And Chris Sutton, who was on co-commentary duty for Sky, was quick to warn Cantwell over the situation.

He said: "That's daft from Cantwell. Do your talking on the pitch, Tik Tok."

After the match, McGregor said there was nothing in the incident, pointing out that tensions were running high after an action-packed, passionate game of football.

And Kris Boyd, who pulled Sutton up for his sly use of the name 'TikTok', tended to agree that Cantwell should've seen himself up the tunnel rather than needlessly starting handbags at the end of the game.

Meanwhile, Michael Stewart has slammed the officiating during Rangers' 3-3 draw with Celtic.

Glasgow's big two took part in a pulsating stalemate at Ibrox this afternoon with the goals flowing in the second half.

Celtic had a 2-0 lead at half time after goals from Daizen Maeda and Matt O'Riley in the first. 

However, James Tavernier and Abdallah Sima scored, as it looked like Philippe Clement's team had secured a 2-2 draw. 

Adam Idah had other ideas though, as he struck low beyond Jack Butland a matter of seconds later, to send the Celtic dugout into wild celebrations, with victory just minutes away.
