The match ratings as Rangers defeated St Mirren 2-1 at Ibrox.
Allan McGregor: Had no chance to stop either of Mark O'Hara's excellent finishes and had little else to do as Rangers dominated the ball. 6
James Tavernier: Saw his well-struck penalty well saved by Trevor Carson. The captain got decent pace on the strike but the St Mirren stopper got down brilliantly. Defended well and got up and down the pitch with his usual gusto. 6
Borna Barisic: A sensational, pinpoint delivery for Sakala's header and a decent all-around showing from the Croat and new dad. 6
John Souttar: Showcased some brilliant passing out from the pack and showed his physical prowess in a physical battle with burly striker Curtis Main. Went for the bulldozer approach to clear the ball ahead of St Mirren's second but his header fell at the feet of O'Hara. Another mistake perhaps but like against Celtic, a very promising display. Clearly a good footballer who has the quality to make an impact. 7
Ben Davies: Unconvincing against a team who targeted his weaknesses. Lost the ball under little pressure but was bailed out by Raskin. Didn't ever look entirely convincing dealing with St Mirren's physical threat. Not specifically at fault for either goal but might have got out to O'Hara quicker for the first. Taken off with 15 minutes left. 5
Nico Raskin: Always looks to zip the ball forward with pace. Struts about the midfield with a touch of the young Barry Ferguson about him. Tried to get forward at will and was fouled in the box after being played in by Morelos but Tavernier couldn't convert. Quieter in the second half and taken off with 15 minutes left after looking to have run out of steam. 7
John Lundstram: Decent in the middle, no more, no less. Booked for taking out Mark O'Hara, picking up his twelfth red card of the season. 6
Todd Cantwell: Outstanding. Scored the first with striker style run and finish, getting across the defender and flicking the ball into the net brilliantly. Booked for a late challenge on Kiltie. A lovely angled header found Morelos to put Rangers back in front and he got another assist after a mazy run saw him with the time to pick out Arfield in the box. Quickly becoming the creative fulcrum of this side. 8
Malik Tillman: Was innovative in a midfield role but again found wanting in the other side of the game when Mark O'Hara was able to chest the ball into space and volley home. It was a stunning strike but would a Ryan Jack type have got closer? You'd have to think so. Didn't produce much in the second 45. Subbed with 15 minutes left. 6
Fashion Sakala: A typically all-action display that showcased the good in the mercurial forward's game. Should have scored halfway through the first half but was denied by the impressive Carson. The Zambian has always been underrated in the air and he nodded in his eighth of the season just after half-time. Subbed off with 30 left. 7
Alfredo Morelos: A good all-round display from the Colombian. His link-up was sharp, playing the ball that led to the penalty and a clever, deep run was the trigger that drew out the St Mirren defence for the opener. Didn't have much joy closer to the goal until late on when converting the winner from close range before blasting home a lovely Matondo cut-back. 8
Substitutes
Rabbi Matondo: The Welsh winger entered the fray with 30 minutes to go. Didn't offer too much but delivered a wonderful cross for Morelos' crucial second. 6
Scott Arfield: Got on the end of a gorgeous Cantwell assist to cheekily nutmeg the onrushing Carson for his ninth goal of the campaign. 6
Glen Kamara: Kept things simple and added legs and solidity to the midfield. 5
Ianis Hagi: Didn't make much of an impact in his 15 minutes on the pitch. 3
Leon King: On with two minutes to go. 1
