Fabio Silva has been speaking at today's press conference ahead of Rangers' meeting with Aberdeen.
How happy were you to score your first goal?
Very happy of course, I am a striker everyone knows we live from the goals but the most important is the way I can help the team with my movements, my work, defensive and offensive. I always say that but it's true. When you work hard and do things right they come naturally. Of course it will come but it's important for me and gives me the confidence. The most important is the result.
You'll hope to build on that confidence?
I hope of course, I am going to do my job always and try to help the team. I don't know what will happen but of course, it gives me confidence. I am really sure if I continue things will go in the right way with more goals and assists.
How is the competition with Cyriel Dessers?
It's important to have competition. Everyone knows we have a lot of games it is impossible to play them all 90 minutes. It's good for the coach to have these two options. We are different players. We can give the team different things. It is good for the coach to have solutions.
What have you made of the Scottish game so far?
It is different of course. I felt in the last game it was more physical, not a lot of space to think, it has to be quick because teams play in a back five and I have one guy following me everywhere. We have to manage this, I have to be prepared and the training is good for that. I try to understand better the Scottish league so it becomes more easy.
What have you made of the size of the club so far?
Everything is nice here. When I choose something I do so because I feel something. Before I was here I could feel it would be good for me. In my career it is one more premiership to try to feel the different things. I am very happy to be here and I think you can see I can improve game by game.
Does the need for trophies appeal to you?
Yeah, this is why I chose to come here. I would like to win but the most important thing is we make a lot of sacrifices to win something. I choose to come here because of this. The dressing room and staff are amazing. The fans an environment is special. The most important thing is to win the title of course.
The team seem to be building a lot of momentum?
There is a lot of excitement. I said after the game that since the new coach came everyone can see things are different, the team is playing better so the dynamics are better. The coach tries to make things in training natural and everyone is involved to win titles and be with the team. If everything around us is in a good way we will do a lot of good things.
